We’re thrilled to share some exciting development updates with you. The first update of the year will highlight the naval combat!

We're currently experimenting with larger boats designed for combat, adding a range of potential features like customizable weapons, engines, and additional systems. These larger ships could open up new gameplay opportunities, including the ability to unlock a variety of weapons and equipment by collecting broken ship parts scattered across Sunkenland. This would encourage exploration and add more depth to the gameplay.

Each ship type might feature a different number of slots for customization, with larger ships offering greater flexibility. To add a strategic layer, we're considering enemy islands equipped with armed patrol boats that would defend the perimeter. This could bring a new challenge to island combat and test your naval combat skills.

Balancing weapon load-outs is a key concept we’re exploring—such as using machine guns for smaller, faster boats and cannons for larger vessels. Another idea in development is the ability to capture enemy boats by neutralizing their crew. This could create opportunities for looting goods from ships, making it advantageous to avoid sinking everything you encounter.

To enable customization and repair, we’re testing a system where players would need to construct a dock and park their ship nearby. A potential Radar Station could also be added, possibly requiring a blueprint, to help detect enemy ships on the map.

These concepts are in early stages, and we're looking forward to seeing how they enhance the overall gameplay experience. Your feedback will be crucial as we refine and balance these features.

A few example ship-mounted weaponsthat we have created so far.

  • Explosive Crossbows

  • Flamethrowers

New Content:

  • New Brick Construction Series

    - Blueprints (randomly refreshed) and brick molds can be purchased from the General Trader.

    - Use the High-Temperature Furnace to fire bricks into brick stacks.

  • Added a Basement to the Refinery.

  • Amusement Park Adjustments

    - Improved visibility of the main structures.

  • Wind and Solar Power Return

    - They are no longer auxiliary equipment and can now supply power independently.

    - If your base still has power shortages, you'll need to use the fuel generator as a backup.

  • Unique Resources for Wind Turbines and Solar Panels

    - These resources can be found in specific in-game locations and can be obtained by dismantling structures.

    - These are non-renewable resources, but the General Trader will occasionally have limited stock.

New Building Categories: Vases, Flowerbeds, and Railings

To bring more life to your base, we are introducing vases, flowerbeds, and railings.

  • Vases: Hold a single flower.

  • Semi-circular flowerbeds: Hold two flowers.

  • Round and rectangular flowerbeds: Hold four flowers.

- You can acquire the vases and flowerbeds blueprints from the furniture merchant at the trading station. They are crafted using materials unlocked through new research at the Tier 4 Research Table.

  • Flowers Available for Planting:

- Petunia

- Shrub

- Aster

- Marigold

- Lily of the Valley

- Hollyhock

- Hibiscus

- Plumeria

More flower types will be added in future updates, with 30+ varieties planned for the game. All flowers will spawn randomly on the islands, requiring players to explore and collect them (e.g., small stone islands, warehouses, etc.).

  • New Railings:

- Two new types of railings have been added and can be unlocked by purchasing blueprints from the furniture merchant at the trading station.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed the bug causing day/night irregularities and extremely short daylight hours.

  • Fixed a bug where shooting enemies caused no damage.

  • Fixed an issue preventing the Furniture Merchant from selling new blueprints.

  • Improved save file stability.

  • Reduced enemy shooting accuracy while moving and shooting.

  • Fixed an issue where servers could not effectively ban players.

  • Fixed errors occur when dismantling buildings in multiplayer mode.

  • Resolved certain blueprints that did not appear in the blueprint menu.

  • Fixed some issues that allowed item duplication.

  • Corrected alignment errors in building snapping.

  • Fixed an issue where electrical wires could disconnect after loading a saved game.
